Had a good Thanksgiving with all the family. Got up at 3 a.m. and went Black Friday shopping. Got my son a lot of stuff from Toys R Us. Today I had to take my son to the doctors for his physical for school. Watched the Brown's play on Sunday. They barely pulled off the win. I hope McCoy gets back soon cuz I don't like the way Delhomme plays.

So far it's been a pretty good week. Looking forward to Thanksgiving on Thursday. Might go to a browns game on Sunday if I can find a sitter. Went to my sons meeting last week and it went good. They are going to let him start school on Dec 20th instead of waiting till after the winter break. Finally got him a big boy bed. It's day 3 and so far things are going pretty good. I'm hopeing I do good on my essay for my comp class. I have to take a final exam next week in A&P II and I really need to pass this test or I might not pass this class. Well everybody have a happy thanksgiving and enjoy all the yummy food. I know I will.lol

Had a pretty good weekend. The browns lost in over time to the jets, but it was a pretty good game anyways. I go to the pre school tomorrow to fill out my sons IEP. Only a couple more weeks in this semester and I can get a week off and prepare for the upcoming set of classes. I'm taking 3 next term. I have Diseases of the Human Body, Software Applications and Keyboarding I. I'm not looking forward to the Diseases class cuz there are a lot of diseases out there and I don't know what to expect. But the other two classes should be pretty easy since I've been typing most of my life and using all sorts of software. Well thats all I have to chat about this week so next week I will tell you all how my sons meeting went.

On Saturday I went to a graduation party which was pretty cool. A friend of mine had recently graduated from another online college. On Sunday I didn't do much but watch the browns beat up on the patriots so that was a good day. Monday was just back to the norm. My hubby went to work, kids went to school and me and cody hung out around the house.

We took my son trick-or-treating on Saturday and Sunday. He still doesn't really know what it is all about, but he enjoyed all the candy he got. We went to grams to show her his costume. Everybody we seen thought he was just adorable. He was dressed as Mike from Monsters Inc. On to other issues. I've been working very hard at my Comp paper. I think it is coming along nicely. I still am struggling with my Anatomy paper, but I feel that one will come together also.

     I had an awesome weekend. On Friday my sister-n-law was having a benefit at the Cove, which is a nite club, to help raise money to buy her mom a headstone. We did pretty good which was awesome. Than on Saturday me and the hubby took our son to gram's house so we could have a nite out to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary. We went to the mall, than had lunch. After that we went to the casino but didn't do that good. We later went and had a few drinks and played pool than we went home and watched a movie. It was a very nice evening out and we don't get many of them when you got a little one at home. On Sunday we went and did a little Christmas shopping. More like put a bunch of stuff in layaway. I didn't get to watch the browns game but I did get to listen to it on the radio. And the browns kicked butt so it was a good day.
     I forgot to mention that on Wednesday I went to the school and started the first process of signing my son up for preschool. It went really good. I just have to go back in a couple weeks to do his IEP. And for everybody that doesn't know what the is, Individual Education Plan. He doesn't start school till Jan 3rd though since his 3rd birthday isn't until Dec 19th.

On Saturday it was sweetest day and my hubby bought me a toaster oven which was really nice. Than on Sunday I watched the Cleveland Browns play the Pittsburgh Steelers. Needless to say the browns lost which irked me since I am a browns fan and truly don't like the steelers..lol After the game I went to my mom's house for a fish fry. I don't like fish so I brought my own steak. It was pretty fun, there were lots of friends and family there. It was probably the last yard party of the year since winter is around the corner. And I hate winter. I live in the snow belt in northeast Ohio so we always get a ton of snow. The last couple years haven't been to bad, just a couple blizzards otherwise pretty decent. Wednesday I get to go to the school to get my son signed up for preschool which I'm really excited about. Hopefully everything goes good and he can start after the Christmas holiday. He has to wait since he wont turn 3 till December.

     For people that don't know me, I am a stay-at-home mom, so I spend a lot of time with my almost 3 year old son. It can get very stressful at times but I love it. He will be starting pre-school pretty soon so I will be able to do more of my homework during the day instead of staying up half the night to get all my stuff done on time. I'm going for my AA in Medical Transcription and I plan on working from home once I graduate.
     I took my son to a speech evaluation last week and they said he is very smart in receptive language but he is really behind in his expressive language. I wish someone would tell me why he has trouble talking when he knows what things are if you ask him to point to a certain thing and stuff like that. But he's coming a long and hopefully will get some speech once he starts school.
    
    

Had a relaxing day today. Normally my weeks are pretty busy. My son Cody has developmental delays so he normally has therepy 3 to 4 times a week. He receives PT, OT, EI and we go to a therepy group. We are in the process of getting him signed up to start preschool in January which is kinda exciting and scary at the same time. He's my little boy so the thought of putting him on the school bus and sending him to school is a little scary. He loves going to his "school" for therepy so I know that he's going to really like going to preschool.
Between all the therepies and other stuff that might come up, some how I try to stay up on my school work. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to write my paper on in Comp II. I also have to pick a topic for my Anatomy II class, but I think I'm going to write that paper on Growth & Development.  

Went camping over the weekend with my hubby, step-son, my son and my niece. Had a really good time even if it was cold. It was halloween setting at the campground and they had lots of activites for the kids. I was hoping to take the boat out one last time before the end of the year, but it doesn't look like the weather's going to permit it.
